Airaa (Telugu) is an intriguing and haunting Indian horror-drama film, released in 2019. In search of some fodder for her newly founded channel, Yamuna relocates temporarily to her grandmother’s older and secluded house situated in a rural area.

In one, she plays Yamuna, a self-assured, bold and modern urban girl, and in the other, she brings to life Bhavani, a simple, traditional rural girl with a tragic past. Nayanthara convincingly portrays these two diametrically opposite roles with flair and shows the audiences the depth of her acting skills.

Kalaiyarasan plays the role of Amudhan, a sincere and serious-minded youth who investigates a strange phenomenon occurring in his locality. He becomes entwined in the narrative due to certain events. On the sidelines, doing an earnest job with his comic timing, we see Yogi Babu who adds a touch of lightheartedness to the otherwise intense and suspenseful storyline.

Soon after moving into the old house, Yamuna starts experiencing unnerving paranormal activities that frighten her and also serve as a massive supply of thrilling content for her YouTube channel.
