All Is Well

All is Well is a 2015 Indian comedy-drama film directed by Umesh Shukla. It stars a stunning ensemble cast which consists of Rishi Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Asin Thottumkal among others with a notable cameo by legend Amitabh Bachchan. Supriya Pathak also plays a pivotal role in the movie. It was produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shyam Bajaj and Varun Bajaj and copped together by Niren Bhatt.

The movie is a blend of comedy, action and family drama which weaved around interpersonal relationships, conveying a heartfelt message about the beauty of love and familial ties in the direst of circumstances.

The story ventures into the life of Inder Bhalla (Abhishek Bachchan), an aspiring and successful music composer based in Thailand, who's somewhat estranged from his family back home in India. Owning to a childhood full of turmoil due to his parents' dysfunctional marriage, he chose to create a life away from the chaos. He harbors resentment towards his father, Bhajanglal (Rishi Kapoor), a bakery owner who squanders his earnings, leaving his family in the crumbling weight of debts.

The narrative takes a twist when Inder is summoned back home, as he learns about his father's debt-ridden situation and the disdain from the community. He reluctantly makes his way back to the chaos he had once left behind, finding himself in the midst of familial discord and their eccentricities. Upon his return, he crosses paths with his childhood love Nimmi (Asin Thottumkal), adding another layer of complexity to the narrative.

As the story unfurls, Inder finds himself facing the task of coming to terms with his tormented childhood, dealing with his father’s irresponsible financial behavior, and the challenge of reconciling with the strain in their relationship. Overlaying all of this is the pressure of the escalating debts and the gangster who lends the money, played by Zeeshan Khan, who’s always a step behind, giving a touch of action in the movie.
