Bill Engvall, the famous stand-up comedian who starred in "Blue Collar Comedy Tour", portrays as the savvy attorney Mr. Harvey, who nuances the storyline with his light-hearted but pivotal role, thus adding a comic twist to the movie.

The plot of Bed & Breakfast is set in motion when Jake comes to know about a magnificent villa up for auction in Rio de Janeiro. Seeing a great business opportunity, he immediately heads south to seal the deal, expecting it to be a straightforward process. After all, he knows the ropes, or so he thinks.

Upon arrival, he realizes that the villa is actually the very same Bed and Breakfast run by Ana and her grandmother. Their paths cross, and Jake finds himself drawn to Ana, her warm personality, and her strong dedication to the Bed and Breakfast. At the same time, he is faced with the task of outbidding Juan Carlos, a very competitive rival hotel owner who also plans to acquire the property to expand his empire.
