The problem is that the sales contract says that should any of them leave the property the ownership automatically goes to the other party. Now they have to stay in the cottage, that they both want, to try and sort things out. They call in both their families to help but they seems to get along all to well to be of any help. Christmas is closing without any solution in sight.
