When Buck's invitation finds him, he travels back to their hometown for the funeral, not realizing that this encounter is about to take his life on a strange, slightly twisted detour.

After their short reunion, Buck becomes obsessed with rekindling their relationship and inexplicably moves to Los Angeles following Chuck. He believes that this drastic step would restore their broken past connection, leading them back to the innocence and intimacy they once shared.
