Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 is a 2013 American animated comedy produced by Sony Pictures Animation. Flint's dad Tim (James Caan), lovable bully cop Earl (Terry Crews replacing Mr. T), and his pet monkey, Steve (Neil Patrick Harris), along with other lovable characters, also look forward to more adventure.

These creations seem to be ravaging the ecosystem of Swallow Falls, turning it into an edible version of Jurassic Park.

Drawn in by an opportunity to finally live up to his idol Chester V, Flint, with his friends and his loyal pet monkey, Steve, set off on a perilous mission back to Swallow Falls to save the world from the rampant foodimals and regain control of his invention. Yet, the seemingly charming Chester harbors hidden intentions, leading to unexpected twists and turns.

The visuals of Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 are imaginative and intensively vibrant, gamely riffing on its predecessor’s psychedelic palette of food components. Its spectacular landscape designs and distinctive food creatures provide an equally colorful and surreal backdrop for Flint's adventures.
