Goldstone is a compelling 2016 Australian crime thriller that serves as a compelling exploration of morality, corruption, and redemption in the backdrop of a seemingly tranquil outback town. Directed by Ivan Sen and starring a highly talented cast consisting of Aaron Pedersen, Alex Russell, and Jacki Weaver, Goldstone delivers a deep journey into the heart of Australia's desolate landscape, carrying a powerfully raw narrative.

Pedersen plays the protagonist, Indigenous Detective Jay Swan, who we met previously in Sen's 2013 film, 'Mystery Road’. Guilt-ridden and lost, his search initially seems lost in the vastness of Australia's expansive landscapes and the complexities that underlie small remote communities.
