When Dana learns that the school is cutting its drama program due to budget cuts, instead of accepting defeat, he takes it as a challenge. His solution to keeping the program alive surpasses stale adaptations or common plays; instead, he decides to pen an original sequel to Shakespeare’s tragic Hamlet, ingeniously named "Hamlet 2".
