Holly, forced into child prostitution and bound by the omnipresent threat of physical violence, possesses an inherent innocence and resilient spirit despite her tragic circumstances. The intricacies of her character are portrayed with striking honesty by the talented young actor, Thuy Nguyen.

Upon meeting Holly, on the verge of losing her innocence, Patrick is roused from his apathy.
