Horrible Bosses

Horrible Bosses is an ensemble comedy crafted within the realms of a slapstick, sardonic humor. Charlie Day's Dale is a dental assistant, who is sexually harassed by his boss, Julia Harris (Jennifer Aniston in a devilishly sensual role, we are not used to seeing). Day's performance is a memorable blend of innocence and wit. His character gives the audience good-natured laughter throughout the movie.

Lastly, there's Kurt, who loves his job but his life takes a spin when his beloved boss dies and his debauched, coke-sniffing son Bobby Pellit (Colin Farrell in an unrecognizably comical, bald makeover) takes over the company. Sudeikis lends a likable charm to Kurt that effectively complements his conundrums.

Motivated by their shared misery, a series of hilarious events lead the trio to consider murder as the only workable solution to their problems. They liaise with a so-called 'murder consultant', Dean ‘MF’ Jones, portrayed by Jamie Foxx, who adds a paradoxical reality check to the planned felonies.

Horrible Bosses shines as a comic ride, thanks to the provocative and eccentric performances from its star-studded cast. The chemistry between Bateman, Day, and Sudeikis, is one of the unforgettable dynamics, shaping up the narrative's dramatic irony.
