In Ghost House Inn is a sparkling 2010 Malayalam horror-comedy film which was directed by Lal and produced by 'P N Venugopal.' The film predominantly stars Mukesh, Siddique, and Jagadish, along with other highly talented actors like Ashokan, Rohini, Laksmipriya, and others. It's the third installment in the immensely popular 'In Harihar Nagar' series, following up on the successes of 2 Harihar Nagar (2009) and In Harihar Nagar (1990).

The story revolves around the characters Mahadevan (played by Mukesh), Govindan Kutty (Siddique), Appukuttan (Jagadish), and Thomas Kutty (Ashokan). These are four long-time friends who, after the successes and adventures of their previous two ventures, now decide to purchase a bungalow in Ooty with the money they've acquired from lucky lottery winnings. The bungalow, which they are able to purchase at a bargain price, intrigues them with its mysteriously low price and beautiful location. Deceivingly charming in appearance, the bungalow has a grotesque aspect to it which the friends have yet to discover - it's haunted.

As they explore and settle into the beautiful bungalow named 'Glendale,' they start experiencing strange and uncanny events. The abode is enveloped with a spooky chill, the echo of strange noises, and the occurrence of bizarre incidents, all of which set the alarm bells ringing for the friends. However, their skepticism fades into trepidation as they can no longer deny the eerie phenomena as mere coincidences.

They encounter a spirit, played by Radhika, and her backstory slowly begins to unfurl. As they untangle the bungalow's dark past, they are faced with the spine-chilling challenges and genuine scares that pepper the otherwise light-hearted narrative with chilling drops of horror. They encounter a swindling priest-turned-exorcist (played by Nedumudi Venu) who further adds hilarious twists to the horror.

In terms of the cast's performances, Mukesh, Siddique, Ashokan, and Jagadish once again bring their characters to life, creating a bond with the audience. Their effortless comic timing, delivery of witticisms, and convincing portrayals of fear give an edgy and compelling take on their characters.
