The performances are exceptional throughout. Mukesh, reprising his character Gopalakrishnan from the prequel, excellently portrays his character's jocularity and intelligence. Yet, it is arguably Innocent Vareed Thekkethala, in the titular role, who steals the spotlight. Janardhanan, as the police officer Garvasees Aasaan, delivers an impressive performance while Vijayaraghavan, as the aggressive gang leader Ponnappan, further drives the plot. The film thoroughly adopts humor in each of its narrative strands and the effects of this is a sharp comedy-drama that will bring out bountiful laughter.
