Marigold

Marigold is a captivating cross-cultural 2007 romantic comedy-drama that cleverly combines the glitz and glamour of Hollywood with the colourful charm of Bollywood. In the film, Ali Larter plays Marigold Lexton, a self-absorbed Hollywood actress who finds herself stranded in India when she arrives to shoot a low-budget film that ends up being cancelled. With no money to return home, Marigold is left to explore India. Through a series of events, she finds work in a Bollywood film where she meets and falls for the film's choreographer, Prem Rajput, played masterfully by Salman Khan. Prem, a prince in disguise who keeps his royalty a secret from Marigold, introduces her to the rich cultural heritage of India while training her for her role in the film.
