The film is choreographed beautifully, with each action sequence fast-paced and breath-taking. The fight scenes featuring Uwais are particular standouts. Berg does a phenomenal job of merging Uwais’ hailing martial arts style with Hollywood action aesthetics.

The movie successfully illustrates the growing reliance on technology and surveillance, where in-the-field operatives are guided by high-tech systems and a seasoned tactical command unit. John Malkovich, starring as the Overwatch operation room wrangler Bishop, delivers a strong performance, blending an unflappable demeanour with quick decision-making.
