Miral

The school acts as a haven that shelters Miral and her peers from the simmering tensions and skirmishes that exist outside its walls. However, as she grows, the realities of the situation surrounding her slowly become a part of her identity, as well.

Willem Dafoe and Vanessa Redgrave also contribute powerful performances in the star-studded cast; with Dafoe playing Eddie, a sympathetic American diplomat and Redgrave featuring as Bertha Spafford, a philanthropist supporting Husseini's cause. They provide captivating images of outsiders observing from the periphery, unable to fully influence what's happening.
