New Rose Hotel is a cyberpunk thriller directed by Abel Ferrara and released in 1998. An adaptation from the short story of the same name by William Gibson, the film stars established actors Christopher Walken and Willem Dafoe, with Asia Argento also giving a standout performance.

Sandii is sent in as the luring bait to draw Hiroshi away with promises of love and affection.

Directed by Ferrara, who is known for his gritty explorations of seedy underbellies, the film thrives on its unique characters and the interactions they share in their corroded and corporate-dominated world. Set mostly in dimly-lit rooms and seedy joints, the movie leans heavily on the strength of its characters' performances.
