Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian is a delightful family-friendly adventure comedy from 2009. Given life by the mystical tablet, his old friends and a throng of new characters create a whirlwind of adventure and challenges for him to face.

Resurrected with a bit of flash and mischief is Owen Wilson's wild-west miniature cowboy, Jedediah, who along with fellow displays from the New York museum come alive. Amelia Earhart, a brave and radiant pilot figure from the Smithsonian, joins the team, played with glowing vitality by Amy Adams. The movie adds further depth to these characters, carving out their unique attributes and fueling the engaging plot.

Amy Adams is a delight as the plucky, audacious Amelia, bringing an angle of charm to an already captivating narrative. The production design deserves recognition with some genuinely awe-inspiring creations. The redevelopment of iconic sights such as the Lincoln Memorial, The White House, and The National Air and Space Museum, give the film an exotic touch. Every set piece is indicative of a creative team running wild with the treasures of history and culture at its disposal.
