Patient Zero

Patient Zero is a 2018 post-apocalyptic horror film, with an intriguing mixture of elements from the sub-genres of pandemic horror and zombie films. Tucci’s portrayal of an infected individual reaches into the depth of his character rather than focussing on the surface horror elements. His chilling performance as the sentient and calculating 'Professor' lends considerable depth to the portrayal of the infected beings.

There is a persistent tension throughout the film as the urgency of the quest for finding a cure is pit against the increasing apprehension and mistrust between humans and infected.
