Ramaiya Vastavaiya

Ramaiya Vastavaiya is a romantic-action-comedy Bollywood film that hit the big screens in 2013. Written and directed by Prabhudheva, the film stars Girish Kumar, Shruti Haasan, and Sonu Sood in lead roles. On the other hand, Sona's brother, Raghuveer (Sonu Sood), deeply cares for his sister and is quite protective of her. He has made many sacrifices for the happiness of his sister. Raghuveer's character carries a subtle intensity and an unconditional love for his sister which is portrayed very effectively. He stands testament to the bond between siblings and their willingness to go to any length for each other.

The film explores these relationships and the dynamics of the characters as they navigate their paths. It's a roller coaster ride of emotions, where love, passion, anger, sacrifice, and the strive for happiness all find a place.

Shruti Haasan gives a sparkling performance as Sona, showcasing her versatility as an actor. He smoothly transitions from being a spoilt brat to someone who is willing to give up his luxurious life for the woman he loves. Sonu Sood also shines as the caring and concerned brother who has faced the hardships life has thrown at him.
