Prescott's father, on Guillaume de Rougemont (Jacques Apollo Bolton), approaches Toliver, offering an irresistible deal - save Gabrielle and earn half a million dollars.

Toliver sets off to Vietnam to rescue Gabrielle, but not alone. He takes along six of the most hardened, 'beyond-saving' teenage criminals - each holding a unique skill - whom he trains at his youth detention center. Toliver has a dual aim.
