As Spawn, he's endowed with supernatural abilities, transforming into an enigmatic, tortured antihero seeking a path to redemption, a host of vigorous battles, and the relentless pull between his fading human empathy and his new unearthly powers.

John Leguizamo infuses hearty doses of comic relief into the film's otherwise grim environment with his gleefully unmatched portrayal as the Clown, a mischievous and grotesque emissary from Hell.
