Center Stage is not only a paradise for young aspiring performers, but it may also possibly be a stomping ground for a fanatical killer.

The heart of the movie is formed by its character roster. Allie MacDonald plays the central character, Camilla Swanson. The bright-eyed, ambitious teenager dreams of following in the footsteps of her mother, Broadway diva Kylie Swanson (enviably played by Minnie Driver). But her dream of basking in the limelight on the big stage takes a dark turn when a serial killer starts picking off the performers. Inching closer to her dream, Camilla lands the lead role in the camp's summer production, completely unaware of the danger that lurks in the shadows. Will her shining star be snuffed out before the curtain goes up?
