Set in the vast landscapes of Manchuria in the 1930s, The Good, the Bad, the Weird centers on three characters, each of whom may not be what they first appear.

To start with, we have Yoon Tae-goo (known as "the Weird"), portrayed by the superb Song Kang-ho. He's a scruffy, affable opportunist, a kind of petty thief who spends most of his time pulling small scams and thieving to get by.
