The Mummy

His adventure takes a thrilling turn when he discovers and inadvertently liberates Ahmanet (played by Sofia Boutella), an ancient Egyptian princess who had been dead for over 3000 years, and who was unfairly denied her destined place as the Pharaoh of Egypt.

Boutella’s character Ahmanet is a strong, commanding, and intimidating mummy unlike any other, gracefully portrayed with a powerful blend of ambition, rage, and humanity. Once the princess, she is now a mummy with supernatural powers and a simmering grudge against the world which denied her the chance to rule – this makes her character unique and invigorating.

On the other hand, Cruise's character Nick is the ultimate adventurer, embarking on a thrill ride of action, surprises, and dark humor. His feisty co-star Annabelle Wallis plays Jenny Halsey, a brilliant archaeologist who plays an instrumental role in the narrative.
