The Ride

Where to Watch The Ride

1963

A young man working as a chauffeur is polishing his wealthy employer's Rolls Royce on an extremely hot day. To relieve himself from the toils of the job on this hot day, the chauffeur fantasizes that it is instead a clear winter day but with snow on the ground. As he drives his employer around, he finds himself at the top of a hill. He believes the most expedient way to get down the hill is toboggan instead of drive, with he still being the driver and his employer his passenger on the back of the toboggan. The ride down the hill isn't quite what the chauffeur envisions, but his employer seems oblivious to the mayhem going on around him. In the end, the chauffeur is glad it's only a dream, but sometimes dreams do come true... unfortunately.
