The Skulls

The Skulls is a 2000 thriller film directed by Rob Cohen. It stars Joshua Jackson, Paul Walker, and Hill Harper. The movie revolves around two best friends who navigate their way through the secretive world of an Ivy League university's most elite society.

Mandrake is a fourth-generation legacy Skull member, son of the society's powerful leader Litten Mandrake (played by Craig T. Nelson). Beckford, on the other hand, is Luke's journalism roommate, who views The Skulls with distrust.

Suspicion and intrigue build as Luke's loyalty to The Skulls begins to wane in light of their clandestine activities. His disillusionment intensifies after his best friend and roommate mysteriously dies. Luke suspects foul play and believes that his friend's death has something to do with the Skulls society.

Jackson's character, Luke, feels trapped in a world of privilege and deceit. He carries the film with an appealing mix of naivete and slowly dawning realization of what he's gotten himself into.
