Zombies of the Stratosphere

Zombies of the Stratosphere is a 1952 American science fiction film produced by Republic Pictures. It's more commonly known as a compelling example of the sci-fi serial thrillers of the time. The Martian agents, played by Leonard Nimoy and Wilson Wood, plan to destroy our home planet by knocking it off its axis using nuclear explosives, an audacious plot that allows them to replace it with their home world, Mars.

Alongside Holdren, we have the charming Aline Towne, who plays his trustworthy assistant Sue Davis. She and Martin get wind of a mysterious enemy squadron led by an insidious Martian, Marex (Lane Bradford). In their bid to foil the Martian plot, a string of hair-raising adventures awaits our heroes – from high-speed flying saucer rides to perilous underwater encounters and sensational gunfights.
