Aguila Roja is a Spanish television series broadcasted by TVE and produced by Globomedia company. The series premiered in 2009 and culminated in its ninth season in 2016, showcasing a unique blend of adventure, romance and mystery, all set within Spain's remarkable historical context. David Janer i Oliveras plays the protagonist role with consummate ease, supported by an ensemble of compelling characters, including the brilliantly acted Javier Guti.

Underneath the robe and mask of Aguila Roja, Gonzalo embodies a martial artist's dexterity, capable of acrobatic feats and skilled in archery and swordfighting. These traits, coupled with his unwavering dedication to justice, make him a formidable opponent for the corrupt nobles and the dangerous assassins that serve the Loyal Ones.

The series also unfolds Gonzalo's personal life, which he tries to maintain amid his clandestine double life. He is the father to the sagacious and bright Alonso, played by Guillermo Campra. Furthermore, he is always accompanied by his loyal and somewhat goofy servant, Sátur played by Javier Guti. Their dynamic provides welcomed comic relief, adding an additional layer of depth to a series swathed in gravity.

David Janer, Javier Guti, and the rest of the ensemble cast lend their incredible talent to bring this historical tale to life.
