Bates Motel is an American psychological horror drama television series that aired on A&E from 2013 to 2017. The series is developed by Carlton Cuse, Kerry Ehrin, and Anthony Cipriano. The star-studded show features an ensemble cast led by Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga. Highmore plays the infamous Norman Bates, with Farmiga taking on the role of his complex and controlling mother, Norma Bates.
