Ben & Kate is an engaging American television sitcom that was aired on Fox from September 25, 2012, until January 22, 2013. The show is a creation of Dana Fox, produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Chernin Entertainment. The series was cancelled in the mid of its first season, but even in its short span, Ben & Kate had garnered a dedicated following who relished the genuine bond and quirky humor the show's central characters exhibited.

Upon realizing that Kate could use some aid in raising Maddie, especially in the face of Kate's disastrous attempts at dating, Ben moves in with Kate and Maddie, in an effort to help them out and provide some sort of stability, or at least his version of it.
