Laying claim to bloodlink with the Tokugawa shogunate, Keiichiro must confront formidable adversaries both from within his circle and external enemies that see his ascension as a threat to their ambitions.

Complicating matters further is that Keiichiro, as the anime teases out hilariously, suffers from a peculiar form of a fear called 'hentai syndrome'. Whenever he comes in physical contact with a woman, he gets a rash, rendering him incapable of fulfilling any romantic desires.
