Dani's House

Dani's House is a British children's comedy-drama television series that aired on the CBBC channel from 2008 to 2012. Produced by Foundation TV Productions, the show was created by Emma Foster and directed by Dez McCarthy, among others. The series boasts five captivating seasons and a total of 65 episodes, each running approximately 30 minutes.

Set in a fictitious seaside town, Dani's House delves into the life of the titular character, Dani Harmer, who is best known for her role as Tracy Beaker in the television series "The Story of Tracy Beaker." However, unlike her character in Tracy Beaker, here Dani plays a fictionalized version of herself; an ambitious and vivacious young teenager with dreams of becoming a famous actress.

The premise of the show centers around Dani being left at home to take care of her younger brother Max, played by Sebastian Applewhite, after their parents embark on a worldwide trip to help save endangered species. Dani's house becomes much more than just a home; it's a hub for all sorts of misadventures, wild antics, and laughter-filled moments that playfully reflect the chaos and joy of a teenager’s life.

Apart from Dani and Max, the series also introduces other prominent characters. There's Ben, Dani's endearing yet slightly inept best friend, portrayed by Harry Culverhouse. The series finale of Dani's House aired in 2012. However, the popularity of the show led to a spin-off, "Dani’s Castle," which continued to chronicle Dani Harmer's adventures, but in a completely different setting and with an all-new horde of friends, ghosts, and magical elements.
