Fantasy Island is a rebooted series on FOX. This drama-fantasy television series is based on the popular 1970s series of the same name. She is a strong Latina woman in a powerful position, balancing guests' dreams and nightmares while wrestling with her cursed blessing. In body positivity, Ruby's character normalizes different body types on mainstream television without making it the focus of her character arc.
