Heirs

Heirs is a South Korean television drama series that aired on SBS in 2013. Also known as 'The Inheritors', the show became very popular due to its fantastic storyline, relatable characters, and excellent acting. Directed by Kang Shin-Hyo and written by Kim Eun-Sook, the series beautifully encapsulated the lives of a group of wealthy and sophisticated young people who are groomed to take over their families' business empires.

The narrative of the Heirs weaves around the lives of privileged high school students living in the lap of luxury. Their world is a cocoon of opulence and power, where they are shielded from the struggles of the ordinary citizen. However, that doesn't mean they are invulnerable to their share of challenges, personal conflicts, family dilemmas, and psychological battles.
