Living Single

Living Single is an American television sitcom that was broadcast on the Fox network from August 22, 1993, to January 1, 1998. Completing the quartet is attorney Maxine 'Max' Shaw, played by Erika Alexander. A frequent visitor rather than a tenant in the apartment, she is Khadijah's college friend and a sharp-tongued lawyer with an independent spirit.

The two male characters are friends from the building. Kyle Barker, played by T.C. Carson, is a stockbroker with a flair for poetry, whose traditional values often clash with the changing times. His roommate, Overton Wakefield Jones, played by John Henton, is the simple, honest handyman for the brownstone who develops a love interest in Synclaire.
