Macademi Wasshoi! is a Japanese comedy and supernatural-themed anime television series that aired in 2008. It was produced by animation studio Zexcs under the direction of Takaomi Kanasaki. During one of his magic experiments, Takuto accidentally summons a charming and mysterious girl named Tanarot, who is a powerful, albeit unwittingly so, magic user herself. As is typical with such unexpected summonings, Takuto soon finds himself contractually bound to the whimsical Tanarot. As a part and parcel of the risk involved, he becomes responsible for managing the volatile abilities and innocent curiosity of his magical ward as she tries to understand the human world.

The plot further intensifies and becomes interesting as Takuto must navigate the complexities of the academic rigors of the academy while simultaneously handling the challenges and shenanigans created by Tanarot's abilities and her unique experiences with human society. His life becomes even more chaotic with the introduction of more characters - friends, rivals, and even enemies - who're drawn, in some way or the other, to Tanarot's magic.
