Mushibugyo is an exciting historical fantasy anime series that aired on TV Tokyo from 2013 to 2015. This action-packed performance is based on a popular manga of the same name, created by Hiroshi Fukuda. Produced by Seven Arcs and Studio Hibari, Mushibugyo provided a unique blend of Edo period historical setting mixed with distinctive fantasy elements that successfully attracted a vast audience during its two-year stint.

Though inexperienced and naive, Jinbee's hot-blooded nature, unwavering spirit, and his dedication to fulfilling his duty, make him a crucial fighter in the war against the insect invaders.

Throughout the series, Jinbei encounters and eventually forms strong connections with various members of the Mushibugyo, each having unique characteristics and abilities that aid them in the alarming task of removing the Mushi. This includes the mysterious female magistrate who leads the Mushibugyo, Tsukishima; the competent and strict team leader, Mugai; and other colorful warriors tested by their dire straits.
