Peter Pan Live! is a fantastic reinvention of one of the most beloved and timeless childhood narratives we all know and adore. This musical TV special broadcast was brought to life by NBC on December 4th, 2014, following the successful formula of their previous endeavor, "The Sound of Music Live!" The ambitious project featured a star-studded cast headlined by Emmy winner Allison Williams as Peter Pan and celebrated actor Christopher Walken playing the legendary Captain Hook.

The nearly three-hour live television musical managed to capture the essence of J.M. Barrie's original 20th-century play and the ensuing Broadway adaptation, adding a fresh twist and a modern perspective to the classic tale. On the other end of the spectrum, veteran Hollywood actor Christopher Walken brought an eccentric, entertaining, and slightly menacing flavor to the character of Captain Hook, creating a memorable villain that attracted both fear and admiration.

In the musical, other characters from the classic narrative were in full bloom as well. Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara's Mrs. Darling exuded warmth and motherly concern in equal parts, while the forever bumbling and lovable Smee, played by Christian Borle, lightened tense situations with comic relief.
