In need of a break from the agency and an opportunity to reconnect with herself, Malena books a ticket to the south. Andy invites her for a night out as a going away, while purposely not mentioning his health situation.

Malena decides to sell the house - and the memories that go with it - and the first potential buyer is none other than Marcos. Cali has to take Clara to the hospital when her water breaks, and she tries again to rebuild her friendship with Malena without success, who is also there to help her sister give birth.

Strapped for cash, Cali takes a job with a vengeful Marcos who is planning an act of revenge against Malena and her agency. While planning a VIP art event, Malena and her team have their hotel suite taken by Marcos.

Cali's return of the money she took doesn't lead to forgiveness - Malena is keeping her former business partner at a distance and is intent on cutting ties with her altogether. Also, Malena's regrettable run-in with Marcos at her parents' vow renewal ceremony unearths a piercing confession, Javier skips the wedding at the last minute and Julio reappears and disappears in Andy's life.
