Shipwreck Secrets

Real people, adventure and drama as a local scuba diver discovers a 5,000 pound anchor on the bottom of the North Atlantic on a historic shipwreck. On Thanksgiving day in 1964 the 583 foot tanker collided with the 629 foot luxury liner SS Shalom and was sliced in half. The stern sank in 130 feet of water while the bow was towed back to port. Join a group of local divers as they embark on their 3 year expedition to recover the anchor from the bottom of the ocean in the challenging conditions of the Northeast Atlantic.
